Time to Party

So it's been a while since I've last blogged. A lot of things have happened this month; Thanksgiving back in KW and Oktoberfesting with Katie, Leah and Mike, setting the date for the wedding, saying bye to Erin before she heads over to Edmonton and finally the HUGE surprise birthday party for my mom.

Oktoberfest

So what are the chances that out of hundreds of tickets and only 2 prizes, both would end up in the possession of someone from our group? Well, apparently pretty good since both Katie and Leah ended up with the two plush toys! Leah ended up selling the dog to some guy who really wanted it for his mom and donating the money to the foundation that held the raffle.

We had lots of fun taking silly, 1/2 drunken pictures with the Oktoberfest Tweedy. I'm not sure what Leah is trying to do here though...

Surprise Party for Mom

After the party we had to do some cleaning up and a lot of balloon popping. Mom decided to get into the action :)

After over 7 months of planning by my dad and various friends, we all managed to pull off the surprise as a surprise! Though my mom was a bit shocked at first (and a bit overwhelmed) she had a great time. Next big party? Our wedding! Mark the date everyone; May 31st, 2008.

Now that you all know about it over 1.5 year in advance, there is no excuse not to attend :)!
